Maggie is incredible. We (two adults and Alan the dog) had an amazing three nights on the East Yorkshire Coast. Kit was very helpful in advance of the trip – quickly answering all our queries about range and kitchen equipment. When we arrived – Joss was so considerate with his time in explaining how to get the best out of the van. He was also on hand throughout the trip if we had any issues. The van itself was beautiful – a fine balance of authentic VW character and modern charm. It was a pleasure to drive and turned many heads as we drove through the coastal villages. Everything was on hand – including modern kitchen equipment, fairy lights and a wee radiator. The battery range was perfect, allowing plenty of travel during the day without wasting too much time on the road. And it was very easy to hook up and charge overnight in the campsites as we slept. A memorable and unique experience that we will never forget.
Went on a trip with their fully electric VW camper Indie for a few days. It was very interesting to drive a classic car with all its charming quirks but quickly and quietly being able to take any hills and enjoy the scenery. The staff was very helpful giving me a thorough introduction before I left and even took a short ride with me to make sure I was confident driving on my own. I headed for the coastal area though the moors and had a lovely time. The camper has cutlery and crockery. It lacks sharp knife, washing up liquid, basic spices so be sure to bring that as well as bedding. Will definitely keep in mind if I ever have time to go back and need to rent a camper
We love Indie! We had the most incredible experience travelling across the North Yorkshire Moors and down the East coast. The views from the bay window were incredible! As well as being great fun to drive, Indie provided us with space to chill out, get cosy and sleep after an action packed day. Thanks so much to Kit and Joss - we couldn’t be happier campers!
Excellent trip, very memorable and highly recommended. Kit was a great host and recommended the perfect campsites, and borrowing Indie the camper was a great way to explore some of the Yorkshire Dales. Wish we had booked for longer!
Hiring a camper van was a little bucket list dream of mine so when I found this on Air BnB I was super impressed. As I’m not really a keen camper nor driven an electric car before I had lots of questions prior to our trip which Kit gladly answered & even phoned ahead to our campsite to make sure they had the right charge points for us. The camper van is so sweet – I stayed in it with my husband, 2 children & 2 little dogs – all cosy & warm with a little heater & space to charge your phone & plug in your coffee machine. She’s no frills, non show offy but really a great experience, really pleased we did it.
We have just returned from an amazing weekend in Indie the electric campervan! What a great experience! The van is great fun to drive and comfortable to camp in. It really does have everything you need for a great holiday!

We had a great stay in Indie. Kit really went the extra mile for us; giving us a very detailed tour of Indie, and driving around the block with him until we felt comfortable. We had everything we needed for our camping trip, using the kitchen set for breakfast lunch and dinner. Thank you Kit for all your help, would definitely recommend!
I booked this as a birthday surprise for my boyfriend. My daughter slept in the roof, she had a plug for her phone and WiFi on the campsite so hardly left the roof all weekend! We loved our weekend in Indie, the campsite we visited was great. The weather was beautiful which just topped off the weekend for us. We visited some very beautiful scenic areas of the Yorkshire Moors. It was a great experience.
Had a great little trip away in indie. Amazing to drive and really comfortable in the back too. Took it on a quick overnight stop to Pateley and it was so easy to set up and cooking a sausage sarnie in the am was perfect. Thanks!

I booked Indie as surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday and we both absolutely loved the experience! There’s so much space inside (and she certainly attracts a lot of attention from the outside). Kit was so helpful and made us feel really comfortable with driving our first ever camper van before we set off on our journey. A great way to explore the North Yorkshire Moors and beyond – would definitely recommend!
